Search no more! I recently came across the Corcoran Group and I can assure you that these folks understand social media marketing.
Let’s see how they are killing it on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, you name it!
The Corcoran Group Facebook Page
As you see, the Corcoran Group Facebook cover page design is so compelling, creative and free from promotional information as Facebook requires. They exemplify the right way to design a Real Estate Facebook cover image
I love how they included other social networks’ logos in the image as if they are saying: “we are all over the web!”
Once you click on their “About” button, they make your life easy by putting a list of links to their different social network profiles as shown above.
In the “About” section, they made sure to link to their main website and their free iPhone app. Cool!
The Corcoran Group Twitter Profile
Whenever I check Twitter profiles of Real Estate companies, I always start by reading their bios but this was not the case with Corcoran Group. Their visually-rich background image was first to grab my attention.
Again, they are promoting their free iPhone app. The key lesson to learn here is that it is best to unify your message across different social channels.
To Corcoran Group, the iPhone App. is their “hot” product that they want to highlight. That’s why they made sure to include it as one of their visible Apps in their Facebook page (as shown in the first screenshot above) in addition to their Twitter background image.
As for their Twitter bio, at a glance I could easily tell that these folks are trustworthy.

The Corcoran Group YouTube Channel
The journey continues! Let’s head to YouTube. Remember that I was easily able reach to all their social profiles via their Facebook page. I like that! As the saying goes: “Make my life easier and I will thank you for it!”
You cannot help falling in love with Corcoran Group YouTube Channel as it exemplifies Real Estate video marketing best practices.
Again, they linked to their other social networks from their channel, not to mention the beautiful images on top that make a New Yorker proud!
I also love how they used playlists to organize their videos and make them easy to skim through. My absolute favorite Playlist “The Scoop: Season 7″, where the CEO, Pam Liebman, took the time to answer users’ FAQs on video series.
That is a surefire way to build trust and boost your social influence.

Finally: Should You “Copycat” Corcoran Group?
The loud and clear answer is: Learn but NEVER copycat!
There are so many general tips that we discovered today that could be applied to any Real Estate business. These include:
- Unify your message across different social channels
- Link to your social profiles from other social networks
- Create visually rich social profiles
- Organize your information by using features such as YouTube playlists
